Sedona Wineries with Food
When you think of Arizona, you don’t think of it as wine country. However, Sedona and the Verde Valley is home to some of the best wineries in the state. There are several wineries near Sedona, and even more in Cottonwood and Cornville. Stop by and tour one of the vineyards, sip some local wines or have some delicious food with your tastings. Come along with us as we explore the Sedona wineries with food.
Sedona Wines
Sedona is known for small estate vineyards located outside of the city limits. These vineyards are known for their small-batch wines. Along the Oak Creek, wineries benefit from the lush and fertile environment. Many of the local wines can be found in stores, restaurants, bars and may be purchased from the vineyards.
Food at the Wineries in Sedona and Beyond
DA Ranch
Our first choice for a winery that serves food is DA Ranch. DA Ranch is located in the heart of the Verde Valley Wine Trail. Once a cattle farm, it is now one of the more popular wineries. The property is beautiful with the large ranch style house with a wrap-around porch, a pond and vineyards. The setting is not only picturesque but inviting. There is an outdoor area with a gazebo, rope swings and plenty of space for kids and pets.
For food choices DA Ranch offers charcuterie boxes, snacks, and other beverages. They also have food trucks on the weekends. Check their website for the calendar and wine offerings. DA Ranch is located at 1900 Dancing Apache Road in Cornville.
Alcantara Vineyards
Alcantara Vineyards is an 87-acre winery located on the Verde River outside of Cottonwood, Arizona. They offer more than 17 varieties which pair well with their menu. Partake in cheese plates, olives, Greek salads, sandwiches and tasty pizzas. The vineyard offers several activities like paddle boarding, yoga and horseback riding, too. Alcantara is located at 3445 S. Grapevine Way.
Vino Di Sedona
Vino Di Sedona is located in West Sedona at 2575 State Route 89A. Although Vino Di Sedona isn’t a vineyard, it is a wine bar, craft beer bar and wine store. Here you will find a large selection of Arizona wines made in the Verde Valley. The food here does not disappoint. They serve charcuteries, flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, tapas and more. Come in the evenings for live music and entertainment.
