Morning – Get breakfast at your hotel or try the Rustic Thistle. It has good ratings on Yelp
Mid-Morning – Take a Lower Antelope Canyon Tour.
Lunch – Eat at the Birdhouse for fried chicken and beer.
Afternoon – Visit the Glen Canyon Dam for a tour or just visit the Carl Hayden Visitor Center.
Dinner – Have BBQ at Big John’s Texas BBQ.
Sunset – Go to Horseshoe Bend and watch the glorious sunset.

Lake Powell Day Trip Ideas
Lake Powell is an outdoorsman dream come true. There are many things to do at the lake. First you can drive to the Lake Powell lookout. It has beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding desert area. Next, Lake Powell is a great location to rent a houseboat and spend a week there. Go swimming or explore the lake on your own time. Lastly, kayak rentals or boat tours are also a lot of fun. These activities get you closer to nature and will keep you cool in the summer.
